Paintless Dent Repair (PDR), i.e. repairing a dent or ding without painting
Paintless Dent Repair or PDR is a method of repairing small dents or dings instead of painting. The most common of these are dents in parking lots, for example. The prerequisites for PDR are that the paint or sheet metal on the car is not broken and that the car’s supporting structures allow the repair. In paintless dent repair, the damage to the vehicle is repaired by hand to the condition it was in before the collision.
With a hook repair, or PDR, you don’t have to worry about differences in paint shade, as no painting is required. This saves time, cost and the environment. Hook repair generally takes less than an hour.
When can a hook repair be carried out?
When the paint surface of the car is not broken, the supporting structures of the car do not prevent the dent from being repaired, and the maximum size of the damage is 30 cm. The advantages of hook repair are speed, cost-effectiveness and environmental friendliness.
How do I get to the hook repair?
You can come in for a damage inspection to show your damage free of charge. In most cases, a damage report is not required for a hook repair, as the cost of the repair is below the deductible, saving you from potential bonus losses.
