Replacement car
If you need a replacement car for the duration of the repair, we can help you arrange one.
As an innocent party in a road accident, you may be entitled to a replacement car while your own car is being repaired. If you have a leased car, the at-fault party’s insurance company will cover 100% of the rental costs, and if you have a finance lease or own car, the insurance company will cover 94% of the rental costs. Before the at-fault party’s insurer can agree to pay the rental costs, it needs to see a breakdown report showing that you need the car for your work. In addition, in some other special cases, you may be able to get a replacement car reimbursed by the insurance company. For information on these other reasons, please contact your insurance company.
If you are the innocent party in a road accident and you need a replacement car, do the following:
- Make a damage report
- Submit a value-for-money report to the insurance company.
You can also fill in a damage report and a data sheet at our workshop. We will be happy to help you fill in the declarations and send them to your insurance company.
